All you need is a heat source to apply. An industrial heat press works best but it can also be applied with a home iron.
The garment should be clean with no fabric softener applied.

Application Steps:
Note: Use of an industrial heat press is best. There are several smaller craft versions that work well. A household iron will work but note that you will probably need to use more time, pressure or heat then listed below as irons have "holes" for the steam and this creates gaps in your heat and pressure application. Make sure you move the iron to different locations to compensate. A solid, smooth heat surface is best. Just remember this film uses a combination of heat AND pressure. When you use enough pressure the film will take on the characteristics of the fabric.

1. Set iron dial between cotton and linen 300-320 degrees is best. 330 for glitter.

2. Place your fabric item on a flat, hard surface. Iron or press it to get the wrinkles and moisture out of it.

3. Place the design face down on the fabric. Plastic carrier up. Cover with kraft paper or non-stick cover sheet or even a pillow case works. You can use the paper that is included with your design kit.

4. Press iron with medium/firm pressure. DO NOT use steam.

5. Press each section of design for 15 seconds if your heat source doesn't cover the entire design.

6. Rub over the carrier with a towel to help the design stick and to cool the surface. Peel carrier hot for glitter and warm for plain film.

7. If areas of the design lift when peeling the carrier off the design, replace cover sheet and re-press for 10-15 seconds using firm pressure. Make sure its not hot when trying to peel the carrier off (plain film)

Applies to: 100% Cotton, Poly/Cotton Blends, 100% Polyester, Leather.

THIS MAY NOT STICK IF FABRIC SOFTENER HAS BEEN APPLIED TO THE FABRIC.

Washing Instructions:
This is a very durable product and is rated to last 50 washes. I've washed garments in my regular wash and used the dryer on cool settings. I have designs that still look great with more than 50 washes.
